Dear friends,
I see that you're having a great time with Daniele... Well, it's the same for me. My new friends are really very nice and love me a lot.
I know you care about me and you want to know news about me... so I'm keeping my promise and I'm trying to write to you very often.
I've been very busy lately!
Last Friday Alessandra and I went sightseeing: she showed me the most
important monuments in Mesagne, she took me to the beautiful towncentre.
It's
unique, it is heart shaped. Alessandra told me that in the past Mesagne was
protected by three gates (they call them "doors", in Italian
"Porte". They are "Porta
Grande", "Porta Piccola" and "Porta Nouova"). Mesagne
is wonderful at Christmas because the streets, the squares, all the houses and
shops are decorated with Christmas decorations and coloured lights. Alessandra
and I had fun taking lots of pictures in many parts of the town. In the evening
I helped Alessandra with her homework.
Yesterday
Alessandra took me to school: it was the last school day. School in Italy
starts again next 7th January 2019. Alessandra and her classmates are members
of the school band so I loved listing to them while they were playing their
guitars and singing Christmas songs and carols. I also helped Francesco, one of
Alessandra's classmates to shoot a video of their performance.

This
morning I helped Alessandra to wrap some presents for her friends and relatives
and then we put them under the Christmas tree. What a surprise! There was a
gift for me under the Christmas tree. I'm so Happy! I'll unwrap it tomorrow, on
Christmas Day. This afternoon I met Rebecca, one of Alessandra's classmates.
I'm going to stay a few days with her. Of course Alessandra, her sister, her
cat and her parents were a bit sad I was leaving them. I was sad, too, the
Secondos will always be in my heart and
I hope I'll visit them very soon, but I'm ready to know other friends.
Now I'm
with Rebecca. She is lovely, too. She wants me to sleep in her room. She has
already prepared a very soft and comfortable bed for me.
Merry Christmas my lovely friends! I'm looking forward to hearing from you
Odysseas
