MY FIRST DAY WITH ALESSANDRA

Dear friends,

how are you? Do you miss me?

I'm staying with Alessandra Secondo, a very nice girl.

I spent all th morning at school with her.  I  tried to follow the lessons, but teachers speak Italian so I couldn't understand much. When the lessons finished Alessandra took me to her home. The Secondos are very friendly: Alesandra's mum, Antonella, her dad Massimo and her sister Giulia welcomed me warmly. They have a beautiful house with a wonderful Christmas tree. My first Italian lunch was "orecchiette con cime di rapa".  It is  earshaped handmade pasta dressed with  turnips sauce. It was very good.

Alessandra has got a cat "Grace" and we soon made friends so we played together all the afternoon. 

                   

Alessandra showed me her family photos and then she read me a chapter of  her favourite book "Pinocchio's Adventures". Finally we had a sandwich for dinner and watched some TV.
Now I'm going to bed.
